Volunteer service that delivers hot meals to the elderly, the disabled, or those who are unable to prepare a nutritious meal for themselves. Minimum of 5 deliveries upon start of program.

Note: The Health and Home Care Society of BC has operated the Meals on Wheels program in Vancouver and Richmond, with some funding from Vancouver Coastal Health. For more information on both Societies, visit our website.

Mandate

Volunteer service that delivers hot meals to the elderly, the disabled or those who are unable to prepare a nutritious meal for themselves. Act as liaison between client, family and health care providers.
