North Shore Stroke Recovery Centre

The Centre is a self-help support group for stroke survivors and caregivers. Activities include:

- Exercise sessions, physical games (designed to maintain coordination and mental fitness)

- Speech therapies

- Health and wellness lectures

- Caregiver support

- Community re-integration

Member of the Stroke Recovery Association of BC. Partially funded by Vancouver Coastal Health. See website for other funding sources.

Mandate

Provide a social and empowering environment where stroke survivors, family friends and caregivers find mutual understanding, acceptance & support.
